How to Apply — Step by Step (2026)
- Visit pmsuryaghar.gov.in
- Click "Apply for Rooftop Solar" and register with your mobile number
- Enter your electricity consumer number and select your DISCOM
- Fill the application form — your details, roof area, required system size
- Submit application — you'll receive an acknowledgement number
- DISCOM will conduct a site inspection (within 30 days)
- Select an MNRE-empanelled installer from the portal's approved list
- Installer completes the installation
- Submit completion certificate and net meter application
- DISCOM installs bidirectional meter
- Subsidy credited directly to your bank account within 30 days of commissioning
